The elements of nature inspire me by their mobility, strength and fragility. I like to bring out the essence that emerges from these elements. The gesture initiates compositions where abstraction and figuration meet. The Gaspé Peninsula is an amazing place where the elements of nature are omnipresent. I’m inspired by the rocks, the rough texture of the escarpments and the sea.
