The themes of environment, landscape and geology have always inspired me, as they are imbued with life, movement, strength and fragility. In the river project, I explore my feelings and perceptions of current environmental issues by evoking nature with poetic license. I use various media to represent the intimacy of my connection with nature.
This project was funded by the territorial partnership agreement concluded between the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the agglomeration of Longueuil.
A Little Bit of You in the Blizzard is a project inspired by grieving and the river. I carried out this project in collaboration with the poet Marie-Belle Ouellet. We worked together to connect with the invisible presence after the death of a loved one through the creation of prints and poems. Each work and each poem invite us to dive into the depths of a memory.
